科目概要

原則、先端生命科学研究会もしくはバイオ系の研究会に属している修士課程の学生は必修とします。アカデミックプロジェクト・先端生命科学Aと先端生命科学Bは平行して実施しますので、必ず両方とも履修して下さい。

本授業は修士卒業生に相応しいプレゼンスキルを身につけること、生命科学に関する分野を超えた幅広い知識を身につけること、そして、バイオ系の修士学生同士の横の連携を強めることを目的として実施しています。この過程を通して、参加者全員が知識を深めると共に、一体感をもって、それぞれの研究に邁進できる状況をつくります。

In principle, students from the Advanced Bioscience Research group or Master course students belonging to the Biological Study Group should take both Advanced life science A and B. Both are carried out in parallel, so please be sure to take both courses.

The purpose of this class was to acquire presentation skills suitable for master's graduates and a wide range of knowledge beyond the field related to life science and to strengthen collaboration laterally among bio-based Master course students. Through this process, all the participants deepen their knowledge and create a situation where they can work toward their respective research with a sense of unity.

主題と目標／授業の手法など

毎回、2名の修士の学生が、Nature誌もしくはScience誌の指定された号から最も興味を抱いた論文を選び、その内容について指定のフォーマットに従った解説を行います。それに対して、同じ修士の学生が質問・討論を行います。会場はSFC側とTTCK側からの両方から参加できますが、外研等で活動される方はWebExでの参加も認められています。

Each time, two master's students select the article of most interest from the designated issue of “Nature” or “Science” magazines, and describe the contents according to the specified format. On the other hand, students of the same master will conduct questions and discussions. Participants can participate from both the SFC and the TTCK sides. In addition, participation in WebEx is also permitted for those who are studying under other institute and lab.

提出課題・試験・成績評価の方法など

出席点(30点満点)・発表点(40点満点)・質問点(30点満点)の3つの要素から各人に点数をつけ、バイオ系の教員で相談して最終的な成績を決定します。

Points are assigned to each person from the three elements of attendance points (full score of 30 points), presentation points (40 points), and question points (30 points), and a biotechnology faculty determine the final result refer to it.
