研究会概要

目的・内容

2015年春から、SFCの新しいキャンパス計画「未来創造塾」において、SBC(Student Build Campus)というプロジェクトが始動しました。SBCは、未来に向けた新しい学習環境のデザインや場所作り・プログラム作りに向けてSFCの教職員・学生・卒業生が一体となって活動する実験的なプロジェクトです。このプロジェクトは、自分たちの学ぶ場を自分たちの力で考え創造していこうとするSFCのフロンティア精神を体現した未来のキャンパス作りを目指しています。
　
このSBC合同研究会では、様々な分野の教員と学生が集い、新しい学びのあり方、プロジェクトの企画・運営・広報或は、情報インフラ、エネルギー管理、建築・ランドスケープの計画・設計・施工に至る幅広い研究対象に対し、自分たちの発意で自分たちの力を合わせて実行に移す活動を行ないます。また、学習環境デザインや滞在型教育の効果や意義を実践的に研究し、21世紀における「学習とは何か？」「大学とは何か？」という問いに対して模索していくことで新しい研究領域を構築していきます。
2020年度は、遠隔による参加型授業とはにも焦点をあてて掘り下げていきます。

In spring 2015, Keio University’s Shonan Fujisawa Campus began the Student Build Campus (SBC) project as part of Mirai Sozo Juku, the university’s new campus planning initiative. SBC is an experimental project which aims to allow students, faculty, and alumni to develop new study environments, real spaces, and inventive programs for the future of SFC. The goal of this project is to realize a future model of campus planning. Giving students the opportunity to create their own study environments is an embodiment of the frontier spirit of SFC.

In this collaborative laboratory, we will develop a vision, direct planning and promotion, create new information infrastructure, manage energy consumption, and design architecture and landscape. By discussing the ideal model of our future campus we will develop a new framework for 21st century education. We will analyze the meaning of residential education through practical research, and will develop a new research realm by rethinking the meaning of “study” and “university” during this project.

Each student will establish an independent research agenda and develop an original research framework by participating in this project. Students and faculty will then use the first completed residential building and learn from the results of their work with a goal of continuous improvement.
In 2020 acadmic year, we are focusing on remote but participatory education.Please join!

授業スケジュール

全１２回を通しての授業にそれSBCの活動の全体を見通し、必要な議論を重ね、プログラムづくり、場所づくり、運営の方法等を適時実行して行きます。これらを重ねて行なうことにより現実に進行していく未来創造塾作りに参画します。様々に異なる分野の教員や学生、研究員が一同に集まり、そこでこれからのキャンパスの在り様を議論し、草案を作り、その後実際の計画に移して行きます。研究会の時間では、毎週、教員と学生が集合し、グループごとに進捗を報告し全員でレビューしていきます。また、それ以外の時間はサブゼミというかたちでグループごとにプロジェクトに取り組みます。

初回研究会：10/01（木曜日５限）
全授業遠隔により行います。発想豊かにSFCにおけるオンラインのメリットを最大限生かせる授業としましょう。

Throughout the semester, we will gain a complete perspective of the project and will discuss the necessary programs, spaces and organization. Through this continuous conversation we will participate in the larger project of Mirai Sozo Juku. By collaborating with an interdisciplinary group of scholars and professionals, we will develop a new model for the 21st century campus.

First class: October 1st, Thursday, 5th period
