Listening Workshop II (B)

Course Description:

In this class you will do a variety of listening activities based on podcasts, music, news, etc. to improve your confidence and comprehension when listening to native English speakers. You will work at your own pace and be able to choose the Listening Activities that interest you. In addition, you will have the option to do listening homework and talk about it one-on-one with the teacher. .



Learning outcomes:


  • Become more confident listening to native English speakers

  • Learn to pick out key information while listening

  • Practice describing what you have heard to others



Teacher's comment:

  • Schedule may change.

  • Lecture notes, assignments and homework will be posted on the SFC-SFS course page

  • Points willbe deducted for poor attitude (frequent tardiness etc.) and/or breaking class rules (sharing or copying answers, etc.).

There are no make-up assignments for this class, so absences will affect your grade greatly.
