科目概要

我々を取り巻く物理空間・仮想空間がグローバル化する中で、多言語・多文化社会（コミュニティ）の理解・他者とのコミュニケーション能力は、いっそう重要視される。多様な言語を切り口にした外国語教育は、この社会の様々な局面・現場でリーダーシップを持って課題を解決できる人材育成を目指す。同時に、実践面だけではなく、定量的実験研究・定性的実践研究等を遂行するための、外国語教育研究の基本を指南する。

As the globalization of our physical and virtual space proceeds, understanding our multi-lingual and multi-cultural community and the ability to communicate with others are becoming gaining in importance. Foreign language education, which is based on diverse languages, aims to educate human resources, fostering leaders who can solve diverse societal problems. At the same time this project will instruct the participants in the basics of the foreign language education research, not only focusing on the practical approach but also on how to conduct quantitative experimental research as well as qualitative empirical research.

主題と目標／授業の手法など

言語活動に関わる横断的分野を射程に、教育・行政・経営・メディア等への人材育成を目指す。そのためには、個別の研究活動のみならず、協働学習の場を通したディスカッションが重要である。本プロジェクトでは、参加者それぞれの専門分野・研究テーマの視点から問題提起を発信し、議論を通して共有するメタレベルでの気づきを獲得することを目指す。
実際の授業内容とスケジュールは、履修者数が確定してから具体的に決めていきます。

Focusing on cross-sectional fields involved in language activities, the goal of this project is to cultivate human resources in the fields of education, administration, business and media. For that purpose, not only individual research activities but also discussions through a cooperative studying platform are important.
This project, raises questions from the viewpoints of the main field of study and research themes of each participant and aims to acquire an awareness at the meta level shared through discussion.

提出課題・試験・成績評価の方法など

課題は、研究計画書提出・中間報告会参加・最終報告会参加。評価は左記の３点と参加度の総合評価。

Participants must submit a research plan, and participate in a mid-term and a final presentation. Credits will be considered from the above and by participation.

履修を希望するものは学期開始前に教員にメールでその旨伝えること。
