研究会概要

目的・内容

この研究会は、重要文献の講読とディスカッションを通じて、中東の社会、歴史、文化を探求することを目的としています。中東やイスラーム圏に関心を寄せる学生を広く受け入れますので、それぞれが情熱をもって取り組むことができるテーマを見つけ、育てていってください。

講読と発表を繰り返し、レポート執筆へとつなげていくために、日本語と英語で文献を読む力が求められます。日本語・英語以外の言語、特に中東で使用されているアラビア語その他の諸言語の習得に意欲がある方、現地に足を運び、中東の社会や文化に直接触れる意欲がある方を歓迎します。



This course aims to explore the society, history and culture of the Middle East through reading essential books and materials and discussion on them. We will broadly accept students interested in the Middle East and Muslim societies, hoping that they can find and grow the subject that each can study with passion. Students must be able to read written materials in both Japanese and English. Also, we welcome students eager to learn other languages, used in the Middle East including Arabic in particular, and to experience the Middle Eastern society and culture through conducting field research.

評価方法

授業参加度、発表、期末レポートなどを総合して判断します。

課題

中東の社会と文化を理解するために必須の文献の中から、学生それぞれの研究テーマに沿うものを選びます。

We will select books and articles which are important to understand Middle Eastern society and culture in accordance with research project of each student.

来期の研究プロジェクトのテーマ予定

基本的に同じテーマを継続しますが、講読する文献は学生の関心に応じて変わります。

現メンバーはムスリム社会におけるLGBTQ、イスラミック・ホスピタリティ、日本の学校教育におけるイスラーム対応などの研究テーマに取り組んでいます。

We will continue the same theme in the next semester, but books to read will change according to students' interests.

その他・留意事項

担当講師（有期）の任期は2022年3月までの予定です。

授業時間外に学外での研究活動への参加を求められることがあり、そうした活動への参加・貢献も授業評価の対象になります。

The lecturer's term of office expires in March 2022.
Students may be required to participate in research activities outside of class hours.
