研究会概要
目的・内容
This seminar focuses on the applicability of various disciplines in problem solving. We study academic fields such as behavioral science, health economics, development economics but also look into polishing practical skills such as survey design, interviewing, stakeholder analysis and project management. These skills and processes are often overlooked but play crucial roles for a policy or strategy to succeed.
This past semester, seminar members examined the issue of congestion between Shonandai station and the campus. A study on linking health credits with biking, and the design of a bike sharing system was conducted.
Students are encouraged to start their own projects within the seminar and apply for funds. Students also discuss and support each other upon hearing about progress and issues in research implementation.
評価方法
Active contribution to
seminar management and projects (grant writing, activity planning, poster and other communication tool design-creation-realization-continuation, monitoring and evaluation, budget/account management) is expected.
