研究会概要

目的・内容

本研究プロジェクトでは、サイバーセキュリティ＆デジタルトラストを前提とした技術および社会のあり方についての研究を行う。サイバーセキュリティ＆デジタルトラストは、現在では社会の共通基盤として不可欠なものとなっている。技術面・社会面の双方で、サイバーセキュリティ＆デジタルトラストの課題を見つけ、その解決策を研究する。

技術面では、共通鍵暗号・公開鍵暗号、Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)等の技術を活用した実装と実証を目指す研究活動を行う。

社会面では、ビックデータやAIの時代における新しい約束やルールについて検討し、サイバーセキュリティ＆デジタルトラストの研究を通して「未来の社会をどう創っていくか」を考え、実践する。

本研究プロジェクトは、本学の大学院プロジェクト科目やSFC研究所の各種ラボ、IETF・ISO・ITU・NIST・ETSI等の国際標準化団体と協働するとともに、日本国内外との民間企業や他大学と共同で研究活動を行うことで、世界を先導できる仕組み等を社会とのつながりのなかで研究する。

This research project focuses on the technologies and societies based on Cybersecurity & Digital Trust. Cybersecurity & Digital Trust plays an essential role as a common infrastructure of present society. This project wil explore Cybersecurity & Digital Trust issues both from technological and social aspects and study ways to resolve them.

From the technology side, we will be studying towards implementing and demonstrating of Symmetric Key and Asymmetric Key Encryption, as well as Public Key Infrastructre (PKI).

From the social side, we will be discussing new rules for Big data and AI era as well as considering "How to create the future society" through Cybersecurity & Digital Trust researches and practicing the ideas.

This research project is cooperating with the class of postgraduate course, various labs in SFC laboratory, global standardization bodies including IETF, ISO, ITU, NIST, ETSI, and companies or other universities both domestic and overseas. Through these projects we would study ways of creating a world leading scheme in relation to society.

評価方法

以下の点により総合的に評価する。・木曜4,5限の授業への出席・活動報告発表（卒論準備のためのTERM発表は2回、WIP発表は1回）・研究グループでの日常の活動状況・卒業論分（4学年のみ）

Grading is based on: ・Attendance at RG joint meeting (every Thursday 4th-5th period) ・Attendance, participation and research activity (depending on the kenkyu/research group) ・Activity report/Presentation (WIP or TERM) ・Thesis (4th year student only)

第1回に、研究会活動の説明や履修者の体験談が聞けるガイダンスを設けている。基本的に履修選抜は行わない。質問は、rgcoordinator@sfc.wide.ad.jpで受け付ける。

You will be given detailed explanations about our lab on the first RG joint meeting. Therefore, we strongly recommend students, especially new comers, to not miss the first meeting. For inquiries, please contact us (rg-coordinator@sfc.wide.ad.jp).

授業スケジュール

・研究プロジェクト内での活動は主にテーマ毎の研究グループに分かれて行う。週1回〜2回の研究グループのミーティングに参加し、研究グループ内で自分の取り組む研究テーマを決め、指導を受けながら研究を行う。

・学期中に１度以上、自身の研究活動の発表を行う。４年時に卒業プロジェクトを希望するものは、３年時までに評価を含めた研究発表(TERMプロジェクト)を行い、許可を得ること。

・火曜5,6限の時間は、共通知識の獲得を目的とし、合同研究プロジェクトの教員による講義や、実習形式のワークショップ等が行われる。

・We have multiple kenkyu/research groups focusing on different topics, and every student joins at least one kenkyu/research group based on your insight. Other than the RG joint meeting on Thursdays, students also participate in their own weekly group meetings and make progresses independently from others.

・We have two opportunities, midterm and final, to conduct a student WIP presentation. Students present their work either in the middle or the end of the semester. In general, 3rd graders need to pass the TERM project, which is an opportunity for professors to judge the student's research ability, before actually allowing them to work on their thesis.

・We also have weekly RG joint meetings every Thursday 4th and 5th period, which we generally use for lectures by senior students, professors and guests.
