科目概要
“働く”ことの意味を、体験的に理解する貴重な機会となりうるのがインターンシップです。非営利組織の働き方の社会的意味や自分にとっての価値を、体験を通じて見出すことがこの授業のねらいです。
基本的には夏休み期間中に１ヶ月間実習を行います。実習前である春学期には、心構えや基本マナー等を講義形態で学び、実習後は各自の体験を他のメンバーの視点も借りながら振り返り、さらには自らのキャリア開発について考察します。このように、履修申告は秋学期ですが、授業は春学期から始まります。
原則としてインターンシップ期間中は､責任をもって活動に参加してもらいます。またインターン先の選定は、授業で用意した実習先の中から選択してもらう方法のほか、履修者自らが希望する実習先を選定する方法があります(詳細は「履修上の注意」を参照）。
Internship is a valuable opportunity to experientially understand the meaning of “work”. The purpose of this course is to understand, through experience, the social significance and your personal value of working in the non-profit organizations.
You will participate in a 1-month internship during the summer vacation. Before going to internship, you will learn the basic manners and attitudes in classroom lectures during the spring semester. After internship, in the fall semester, you will review your experience, together with other members of the class. You will also think about your career development. The registration of this course is in the fall semester, but the course activity starts in the spring semester.
During the internship period, you need to be fully independent and responsible for your activities. As for the internship destinations, you can either chose from the list provided by the lecturer, or negotiate directly with an organization of your choice. (See the notes below for details.)

主題と目標／授業の手法など
この授業では、実際に非営利組織に赴き、設定された課題テーマを遂行しつつ、NPOスタッフやボランティアの人達と一緒に仕事をすることを通して、ソーシャルキャピタルを構築していくNPOならではの働き方を体験してもらいます。NPOの社会的意味や価値を探るとともに、自らのキャリア開発の方向性を見いだすきっかけとします。
履修対象者は、総合政策学部および環境情報学部の2年、3年、4年生です。
授業は、①事前研修として春学期に行う講習（NPOに関する知識、社会人としてのマナー、仕事の進め方など）、②夏休み期間中に実施する1ヶ月間のインターン実習、③事後研修として秋学期におこなう講習（体験の共有化、問題意識の深化、キャリア開発に関する考察など）の3部構成になっています。
In this course, you will actually go to a non-profit organization, work with NPO staff and volunteers, and perform a given assignment; and experience the unique work style of NPO which is about building social capital. You will explore the social meaning and value of NPO, and a chance to find a direction of your own career development.
This course is designed for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students of Faculty of Policy Management and Faculty of Environment and Information Studies.
There are three parts in this course:
1) Pre-training lectures in the spring semester (knowledge of NPO, business manners, how to proceed with work, etc.)
2) 1-month internship during the summer vacation
3) Post-training workshops in the fall semester (sharing experience, deepening awareness of the issues, consideration of career development, etc.)

■成績評価
インターン実習報告書、活動成果物、実習先からの評価表、事前講習・フォローアップ講習の出席等を総合的に勘案して評価します。
Grades will determined based on internship report, activity output, evaluation sheet from internship destination, attendance to pre- and post- training workshops.
履修上の注意
原則として、1ヶ月間のインターンシップ期間中は､責任をもって受け入れ団体での活動に従事してもらいます。インターン受入先の選定は、この授業のために大学が用意した非営利組織の中から履修希望者が実習先候補を選択する方法のほか、履修希望者自らが選定した非営利組織を実習先候補とすることも可能です。ただし後者の場合は、担当講師への事前相談が必要となるほか、インターン生の受け入れ打診等において、履修希望者本人の主体的な役割発揮が求められます。なお、履修申告は秋学期ですが、春学期からの授業受講が履修の条件となりますのでご注意ください。
春学期にもSFC-SFSの一斉メールを使って講師から連絡できるように、履修希望者は次期履修プランに登録してください。
※次学期の科目は「プラン」タブの「次学期」より追加する必要が
あります。
As a general rule, it is required to engage in the activities of internship for a period of one month. You can select a NPO from the list provided by the university, or you can chose your own internship destination. However, for the latter case, you need to consult the lecturer in advance, and you are expected to play an active role in arrangement of internship. The registration of this course is in the fall semester, but it is a requirement to attend the classes in the spring semester to be certified for registration.
If you are planning to take this course, please resister in the next semester course plan, so that the lecturer can contact you by SFC-SFS simultaneous email system during the spring semester.

第2回 過去の履修生の体験談を聴く

過去の履修生の体験談を聞くことで、実習先選択の参考にしてもらいます。
Students from past classes will introduce their experience, so that you can have some reference for selecting your internship destination.
第3回 実習受け入れ候補の紹介
[Introduction of Internship destinations]
過去の実習テーマの紹介を含め、実習受け入れ可能団体の紹介を行います。
I will introduce potential internship destinations as well as their projects from the past.
第4回 実習受け入れ候補の絞りこみ
[Selecting Internship Destinations]
予め提出してもらう実習希望等の資料をもとに個別面談を実施し、実習先選定の参考とします。
We will have individual interviews based on pre-submitted survey regarding the choice of internship destinations.
第5回 NPOの可能性と課題
[Possibilities and Challenges of NPO]
昨今の社会情勢の変化に伴い、NPOに対する期待は高まっていますが、一方で様々な課題にも直面しています。この点に関し、NPOの現場で働くスタッフにもゲスト参加していただき、自由に意見交換します。
With the rapid change of society in recent years, there is a growing expectation for NPO. On the other hand, there are various challenges as well. We will invite a guest speaker working for NPO to exchange opinions on this matter.
第6回 実習受け入れ候補との交渉
[Negotiations with Internship Destinations]
学生本人の意向を勘案して絞られた受け入れ候補団体への交渉方法・内容等について、学生と一緒に検討します。
We will narrow down the candidates of internship destinations based on your wants and needs, and consider how and what to negotiate.
第7回 今後の働き方とダイバーシティ
[Diversity and Work]
NPOに限らず、今後の働き方を考える上で無視できないダイバーシティの問題について深く考えます。
We will discuss diversity, an issue which cannot be ignored, not only in NPO, but in thinking about your way of working in the future.
第8回 実習先の確定
[Finalizing Internship Destinations]
これまでの受け入れ候補団体との交渉状況をもとに、実習先の確定を行います。
Internship destinations will be finalized based on the results of negotiations.
第9回 働くことの意義とは
[Meaning of Work]
働くこととはどういうことか、職場のルールはどういうものか、仕事を行なう場合に必要な態度、人間関係の大切さ、個人の成長とキャリア自律などを学びます。
You will learn what it means to work, workplace rules, attitudes required for performing work, the importance of relationships, personal growth and career self-reliance.
第10回 ビジネスマナーの基本

NPOでも必要なビジネスマナーの基本について学びます。
You will learn the basics of business manners, which is necessary even in NPO.
第11回 コミュニケーションの基本

報告・連絡・相談に関わるコミュニケーションの基本について学びます。
You will learn the basics of communication related to reporting, contacting and consulting.
第12回 文書作成の基本
[Basics of Documents]
簡単なビジネス文書や報告書作成の基本について学びます。
You will learn the basics of writing simple business documents and reports.
第13回 プレゼンテーションの基本
[Basics of Presentation]
効果的なプレゼンファイルの作成法と発表の基本について学びます。
You will learn the basics of preparing and giving an effective presentation.
第14回 8月〜9月のどこかで1回：中間報告会 日時未定、教室未定

実習期間中に履修者が一堂に会し、それぞれの実習状況について中間報告を行います。
All the internship students will gather in one place. Each student will report his/her situation of internship.

秋学期最初の授業では、夏季休暇中の各自の活動についての簡単な報告を受けた後、秋学期の授業の進め方について説明します。
