科目概要
最近、ソーシャルベンチャーに対する関心が高まってきています。社会の中で、より心豊かにいきていくことに関係する新しい社会サービスの創出、あるいは急激な社会変革に伴い発生する社会課題の解決・改善に、ビジネス手法を活用して取り組む事業などは、その典型と言えます。
この授業はそうしたソーシャルベンチャーのもとで一定期間研修するのではなく（それは非営利組織インターンシップで対応）、自分たちの身の回りで取り組みうる社会的な活動に実践的に参加し、体験することが授業の狙いです。皆さんのキャリアデザインのオプションがより多様になることを目的とした参加・体験型の授業です。
Recently, social venture is gaining increasing attention. A typical case would be a creation of a new social service related to a life with more spiritual richness, or a use of business method to help solve or improve social issues due to rapid change in the society.
This course is not for internship in such social ventures (if you are interested in internship, consider “Internship in Nonprofit Organizations”). This course is for participating in practical social activities and gaining experience; it is an action-oriented and experience-based program aiming to enrich your career design options.

この授業では、履修者自らが芽吹かせた、あるいは先輩から受け継いだ学生グループによる社会参加活動の種を、協働する地域社会や市民グループ、NPOや企業や自治体等とともに育て上げ、自律的で継続的かつ安定的な活動へと発展させることをめざします。
従って、履修者はすでに何らかの社会参加活動に従事していることが望ましいですが、ほかの履修者と連携しながらこれから活動を起こしたいと考える学生の履修も認めます。
当然、実践活動は重要ですが、活動で得た体験を振り返り、履修者全員で共有し、吟味し、次の展開につなげていくための授業時間は、体験学習サイクルを回すうえで重要な位置づけにあります。また、主にワークショップ形式をとる授業時間は、人間力発揮に関わる当事者意識開発をめざすものであり、そのことは履修者のその後のキャリア開発に少なからず影響を与えるでしょう。
以上の取り組みを円滑に行うために、春学期の授業では各自が考える（あるいは取り組む）活動の可能性についてワークショップ形式で検討するほか、問題の構造的な捉え方、問題と向き合う姿勢や本質に迫るための手法についても学びます（その範囲や深さについては履修者と相談しながら決めていきます）。
秋学期の授業では、春学期に学んだことを活かして履修者個々の活動状況を順番にプレゼンし、それを受けて全体で話し合うことで問題点の把握や解決策の提案に結びつけるほか、履修者が互いの活動に企画運営者として参加し、現場感覚を磨くことにも取り組む予定です。
The goal of this course is for you to raise a seed of social participation activity you initiated or you inherited from your seniors into an independent, continuous and stable activity, working together with local communities, civil groups, non-profit / for-profit organizations and local government.
Therefore it is better if you are already engaged in some sort of social participation activity. But you can also register for this course if you are willing to initiate an activity together with other students in the class.
Practical activity is important. But it is also important to review, share and examine your experience in class in order to achieve the experience learning cycle. The workshops during class time are designed to develop awareness of demonstrating human capacity, which will influence your career development in future.
In order to achieve the above objectives, we will first review the possibility of the activity you are thinking of (or you are working on) in workshop style class during the spring semester. You will also learn how to capture an issue structurally, how to work through it, and how to approach to the heart of a problem. (The scope and depth of the lecture is to be decided in consultation with the class members.)
In the fall semester, you will make presentations on your activity. Then we will have a class discussion to clarify the issue and to exchange opinions for overcoming the challenges. You will participate in other students’ activities as a planner or a managers in order to develop understanding of the reality.

提出課題・試験・成績評価の方法など
授業の出席、日頃の活動状況、各種発表資料と期末レポートを総合的に判断して評価します。
Grades will be decided on attendance to the classes, the scope and depth of daily activity, presentations, and the final report.
履修上の注意
履修申告は秋学期ですが、授業及び活動は春学期から開始します。原則として、春学期および秋学期の授業を通して受講していることが単位認定の条件となります。
春学期にもSFC-SFSの一斉メールを使って講師から連絡できるように、履修希望者は次期履修プランに登録してください。
※次学期の科目は「プラン」タブの「次学期」より追加する必要があります。
The registration for this course is in the fall semester, but the class activity will start in the spring semester. You need to participate in the class both in the spring and fall semester in order to earn the credit for this course.
If you are planning to take this course, please resister in the next semester course plan, so that the lecturer can contact you by SFC-SFS simultaneous email system during the spring semester.

第2回 全体討議
[Class Discussion]
学生が起こす社会参加活動の強みと弱みについて参加者全員でディスカッションします。
We will have a class discussion on the strength and weakness of social participation activity initiated by students.
第3回 ワークショップ①「活動の種」検討会
[Workshop #1; “the Seeds of Activities”]
各自の「活動の種」について紹介してもらい、その可能性について履修者全員で前向きに検討します。
Each student will introduce his/her “seed of activity” and we will have a class discussion to positively consider its possibility.
第4回 学び①「メンタルモデル」と「マインドセット」
[Lesson #1; “Mental Model” and “Mindset”]
社会参加活動に取り組む際の「メンタルモデル」「マインドセット」について考えます。
We will discuss about the mental model and mindset in social participation activity.
第5回 学び②「リーダーシップ」と「フォロワーシップ」
[ Lesson #2; “Leadership” and “Followership”]
社会参加活動における「リーダーシップ」と「フォロワーシップ」のあり方について考えます。
We will discuss the leadership and followership in social participation activity.
第6回 学び③「一歩の踏み出し」と「関係構築力」
[Lesson #3; “Making your First Step” and “Relationship Building”]
他人事を自分事化していくプロセスにおいて欠かせない「一歩の踏み出し」と「関係構築力」について学びます。
You will learn how to make your first step and build relationships, which is an essential part in the process of making someone else’s problem into your own problem.
第7回 ワークショップ②「活動の展開」
[Workshop #2; Development of your activity]
各自の「活動の展開」イメージについて紹介してもらい、その可能性について履修者全員で前向きに検討します。
Each student will present a plan of developing his/her activity. Then we will have a class discussion to positively consider the possibilities of each activity.
第8回 学び④「アンラーニング」と「リスクテイク」
[Lesson #4; “Unlearning” and “Risk-taking”]
「アンラーニング」と「リスクテイク」を素材に、事実と向き合う姿勢と事実に働きかける姿勢について考えます。
By discussing “unlearning” and “risk-taking”, we will think about how to confront and work on facts.
第9回 学び⑤「現状問題構造ツリー」
[Lesson #5; “Current Reality Tree”]
問題の本質に迫るツールである「現状問題構造ツリー」について学びます。
We will learn about the “current reality tree”, which is a method of approaching to the heart of a problem.
第10回 ワークショップ③「現状問題構造ツリー」作成
[Workshop #3; Building “Current Reality Tree”]
先週学んだ「現状問題構造ツリー」の作成を通して、学生団体が行う社会参加活動の本質的課題に迫ります。
By building a current reality tree, we will approach to the essential challenge of social participation activities led by student organizations.
第11回 ワークショップ④「活動の課題」
[Workshop #4; “Challenges of Activity” ]
各自が抱える「活動の課題」について紹介しあい、履修者全員でどうすれば解決に向かえるか検討します。
Each student will introduce challenges of his/her activity. The class will discuss how to overcome those challenges.
第12回 学び⑥「自己動機づけ」と「インテグリティ」
[Lesson #6; “Self-motivation” and “Integrity”]
困難な時ほど原点に立ち返り自分を鼓舞しなければならない。「自己動機づけ」と「インテグリティ」という視点から、この課題を検討します。
When you are in a difficult situation, you need to go back to your basics and encourage yourself. We will discuss this issue from the perspectives of “self-motivation” and “integrity”.
第13回 発表

春学期に学んだ学習内容を踏まえ、秋学期までに自分たちはどんな活動を展開する予定であるかをそれぞれ発表してもらいます。
You will present a plan of your activity based on what you learned during the spring semester.
第14回 8月〜9月のどこかで1回：中間報告会 日時未定、教室未定

実習期間中に履修者が一堂に会し、それぞれの実習状況について中間報告を行います。
All the internship students will gather in one place. Each student will report his/her situation of internship.

秋学期最初の授業では、夏季休暇中の各自の活動についての簡単な報告を受けた後、秋学期の授業の進め方について説明します。
In the first class of the fall semester, you will briefly report your activity during the summer vacation, and I will explain the overview of the classes in the fall semester.

秋学期は、春学期に学んだことを踏まえて履修者各自の社会参加活動についての発表、現状分析、対話、意見交換等をワークショップ形式で展開する予定です。
In the fall semester, you will give a presentation on your activity and analysis of current reality based on what you learned during the spring semester. We will have workshops to discuss and exchange opinions.
