科目概要
社会やコミュニティの課題に取り組む様々な方策のひとつとして、生活者の社会参加があります｡多様化する社会問題へのアプローチと個人の自律という観点からも生活者の社会参加に期待が寄せられていますが、実際の活動となると、なかなか一歩を踏み出しえないのが実情です。この授業は体験学習プログラムとして、学生グループが主体的にNPOスタッフ、主婦、公務員、企業の従業員といった人達と交流や協働しつつ、自らも含めて多様な“生活者の社会参加”を促進する仕掛けづくり・仕組みづくりをめざして活動し、最終的にはそのための実験や提案を行うものです。一連の学習プロセスを経て、生活者の社会参加の意義や可能性について深く考察するとともに、翻って自らのライフキャリアに、社会参加というテーマを位置づけるうえで拠り所となるような学習機会の提供をめざしています。
Social participation of individuals is one of many ways to address issues in a community or society. There is a growing expectation to the social participation of individuals from the perspectives of addressing diverse social issues and individual autonomy, but in reality, it is difficult to make one’s first step. This course is an experience learning program in which students take initiatives to interact and cooperate with NPO staff, housewives and employees of public and private sectors to propose an experiment or a suggestion for building a mechanism to enhance “social participation of individuals”. Through the process of learning, students will consider the significance and possibility of social participation of individuals. This course also aims to provide learning opportunities which can be an anchorage to position social engagement in one’s life-career.

主題と目標／授業の手法など
生活者の社会参加とは何か。履修者は実際にテーマを持って動き、多様な組織や個人に働きかけ、考え続ける中でそれを見出そうとします。基本は「この指とまれ」方式のグループワークで、テーマ設定やグループ結成、通常のグループ運営に関しては、履修生の問題意識や主体性を重視します。
まずは問題意識とアイデアを持つ学生たちが活動テーマを提案して仲間を募り、その他の履修者が呼びかけに応えることで活動グループが複数形成されます。それらのグループが、設定したテーマの妥当性の検証から始めて、最終的には自分たちのみならず、一般生活者の社会参加を促す独自のイベントやキャンペーンの実現をめざします。こうした一連のプロセスで出会う組織・団体や多様な生活者との関係構築や協働は、自分たち学生グループのあり方や関わり方についての深い問いを生み、生活者の社会参加を考察するうえで重要なヒントをもたらすでしょう。
さらには、ライフキャリアの観点から、自分自身の生き方と社会参加との関係についても考えを巡らせる予定です。
なお、授業時間は、情報提供の機会であると同時にグループワークを側面からサポートするためのコミュニケーションの機会として、あるいは問題意識を深める機会として、グループ討議や発表、相談などにも充てます。
What is social participation of individuals? Students will try to find an answer to this question through working with real issues and interacting with various organizations and individuals. The main activity of the course will be a group work, whose theme and management will be based on students’ independence.
First, students with awareness and ideas will propose themes of group projects and recruit members. Other students will respond to the calling and form working groups. Groups will start working by reviewing the appropriateness of their subjects, and work to host an original event of campaign. In this process students will meet various organizations and individuals. Building relationships and collaborations with them will bring deeper questions about the way student groups are. It will also bring important tips for studying the social participation of individuals.
We will also consider the relationship between social participation and one’s life from the perspective of life-career.
Class hours will be used for providing information as well as group discussions, presentations and consultations to support the operation of group projects and deepen the awareness of issues.

提出課題・試験・成績評価の方法など
成績は、各種提出物およびグループメンバーによる相互評価、出席状況を総合的に勘案して評価します。 試験はありません。
＜提出物＞
１． グループ
１） 活動計画書（A4−１枚程度）→発表前日までに提出
２） プレゼンファイル（中間発表・最終発表で使用したモノ）→発表前日までに提出
２． 個人
１） 活動レポート（3,000字程度）
２） 最終レポート（3,000字以上）→テーマは別途通知
３） 相互評価表（A4−１枚程度）→最終発表時
Grades will be determined by submission of assignments, mutual evaluations of group members, and class attendance. There will be no final exam.
1. GROUP
1) Action Plan (1 page, size A4): submit by one day before presentation.
2) Presentation Files (for mid-term and final presentations): submit by one day before presentation.
2. INDIVIDUAL
1) Activity Report (Approx. 3,000 characters)
2) Final Report (More than 3,000 characters): details to be announced.
3) Mutual Evaluation (1 page, size A4): submit on the day of final presentation.
履修上の注意
この授業はグループワークを中心とするものであり、授業時間外にグループ活動（意見交換や情報交換、実態調査や外部組織との会議や交渉、イベントの準備や開催等）が行えることを前提としています。円滑なグループ運営と偏らない役割分担を実現するために、こうした一連の活動への参加が困難な学生は、履修を控えてください。
なお、授業及び活動はリアルな場で行うことを想定していますが、新型コロナ感染防止のため、大学から指示のあった時点でオンラインでの授業及び活動に切り替えることもあり得ます。
This course is centered on group works. There will be group activities outside of class time (exchanging information and opinions, doing research, meetings and negotiations with outside organizations, and preparation and hosting of events) If you have difficulties to participate in these activities outside class time, please refrain from taking this course in order to realize fair and smooth group operation.
Classes and activities will be conducted in a real place. However, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, we may switch to online classes and activities upon the direction of the university at any time.

第1回 10月7日 オリエンテーション＋テーマ募集
[October 7th: Orientation]
授業の全体像、グループワークの進め方、活動テーマ設定の基準などについて説明し、履修予定者に対して活動テーマの募集をおこないます。
I will explain the overview of the course, procedure of group work, and guidelines for setting group work themes in order to invite ideas for group projects.
第2回 10月14日 活動テーマ募集（webでも掲示）＋希望テーマ検討
[October 14th: Call for Group Work Themes (it will also be posted on website)]
事前に提出された活動テーマについて、当日、提案者に概要を説明してもらい、質疑応答をとおして、その他の履修者にどの活動テーマを選択するか検討してもらいます。そのうえで、その他の履修者には、先週と今週の発表テーマの中から、いくつか希望する活動テーマを選択してもらいます。
Proposers of group work themes will make a brief presentation and question & answer session so that other students can consider which group work to participate in.Then other students will select themes they want to participate in.

履修者からの希望を勘案して作成したグループメンバー表を発表します。その場でグループに分かれてグループワークをスタートします。

第4回 10月28日 活動計画発表
[October 28th: Presentation of Action Plan]
定められた様式に従って作成した活動計画書をもとに、グループ毎に活動計画を発表し、活動の概要や大まかなスケジュール、方向性を明らかにします。
Each group will present their action plan created in prescribed format to clarify the overview, a rough schedule and the direction of the group work.
第5回 11月4日 講義「活動テーマの妥当性の検証とリーダーシップ」
[November 4th: Lecture “Examining Appropriateness of Group Work Themes and Leadership”]
設定した活動テーマが妥当かどうかを検証する取り組みの紹介とその際、重要となるリーダーシップの発揮についても考察します。
I will introduce a way to verify the appropriateness of group work themes. We will also discuss about the leadership which is important in the process.

中間発表に向け、調査・検証活動、課題の明確化、チーム運営等、発表に盛り込むべき項目について確認します。
I will explain checkpoints for the mid-term presentation such as research / verification activities, clarification of issues, and group management.

中間発表では、これまでの活動内容を整理し、活動の展開可能性の検討と、後半へ向けた絞り込みを行います。
Groups will report their activities. Then each group will consider the possibility of expanding their activity and the focus for the second half of the course.

グルワのメンバーとは別のメンバー構成でグループをつくり、テーマに即したディスカッションと発表を行います。
We will have discussions and presentations in new groups which is different from the main group work members.

NPOや過去のグルワのケースを紹介しながら、社会参加に取り組むチーム運営のポイントと課題について共に考えます。
I will introduce a few cases of NPOs and group works of the past. We will discuss the points and challenges of team management in social participation.

NPOや過去のグルワのケースを紹介しながら、この授業のカギとなる生活者へのアプローチについて共に考えます。
I will introduce a few cases of NPOs and group works of the past. Then we will discuss approaching to individuals, which is a key element of this course.

冒頭、最終発表の方法や内容、ポイント等について説明し、そのあとグループ別に活動全般について個別相談を行います。
I will explain how to prepare for the final presentation. Then we will have time for general consultation for individual groups.

働きかけたNPO、地元住民、その他協力者などをお迎えして、グループ毎に最終発表を行います。そこでは自分たちの活動の総括を踏まえ、新しい社会参加活動に結びつく具体策について提案します。
We will invite NPOs, community members and other collaborators to the final presentation. Each group will present a summary of their activities and propose a specific idea to lead a new social participation activity.
