科目概要

現代アメリカ政治外交に関する文献を精読する。文献は履修者との協議の上、確定する。2019年度は以下の文献を精読した。

・Hal Brands, American Grand Strategy in the Age of Trump (2017).

候補となる文献は例えば以下のようなもの。
・Mira Rapp-Hooper, Shields of the Republic (2020).
・Abraham Denmark, U.S. Strategy in the Asian Century (2020).
・Colin Dueck, Age of Iron: On Conservative Nationalism (2020)

Intensive reading of books on American politics and foreign policy. The text will decided upon consultation with the participants.
