b）直前の学期でフランス語ベーシック２の単位を取得済みである。

Registration requirements:
a) you have already passed Intensive French 1 during the last semester
b) you have already passed Basic French 2
c) you have taken SFC’s language qualification exam and have been allowed to take Intensive French 2.

科目概要

フランス語の初歩をマスター。身近な分野の単文を理解する。慣れた状況ならコミュニケーションが可能。自分に関する問題を単純な手段で表現できる。

Intensive French 2 provides the basic skills for A1-A2 level learners of French. Students will learn to understand simple and short sentences in familiar situations and will be able to communicate with French speakers in daily situations. Students will also be able to explain problems by using easy vocabulary.

ＳＦＣにおけるフランス語教育は、実際に使えるフランス語を身につけることを第１の目標としています。従来の、一方的に文法知識を詰め込むという方法から脱皮し、インターラクティヴな授業を進める中で、聞く・話す・読む・書くの４つの技能を総合的に養います。インテンシブ2も1と基本的には変わりません。

Agenda1（Jour 6 Rendez-vous 1からJour 9 Rendez-vous 2まで）を用います。その後は教科書を用いず、教師が随時準備する資料で授業を運営します。

なおインテンシブフランス語は週4回です。このシラバスシステムではその一部だけを簡略的に書くことしかできません。詳細は、以下のフランス語セクションのホームページで確認をしてください。

The French learning program at SFC aims at developing practical and useful French language skills. Therefore, teachers try to help students acquire practical language skills by creating more interactive classes that incorporate listening, speaking, reading, writing and student participation. In this way, students are not forced to memorize grammatical structures but rather are provided with opportunities to experience learning for communication.

In Class 2FA, we use Agenda 1 (Hachette) as our textbook. This book is designed to encourage collaborative work through task-based learning. In the Fall semester will cover Agenda 1 from Jour 6, Rendez-vous 1 to Jour 9, Rendez-vous 2 (“jour” means lesson). After that, without using textbooks, each one of the four instructors works on a specific task (cultural background comprehension, structure of French, conversational skills, and re-apply the acquired skill) to construct each session, according to the interests of students.

Evaluation is based on a combination of quizes, assignments, in-class participation, and assigned homework. Each instructor will explain the criteria of evaluation during the first class.
